Hi everyone,

9781928122357I’m delighted to say that Scars, book 2 of Broken but…Mending series is now available.

Some scars are visible…Some scars are hidden…

The worst scars are buried deep inside…

Robin and Sean are existing in their private worlds. Hiding in plain sight, not really living, definitely not thriving. They both need to move forward… if they can.

Yet the price of success is pain as they confront issues that have plagued them for years. They’re so different, with such opposite problems. Yet they complement each other – or at least they will, if they can work through their issues and find each other.

This is a story of pain and sorrow, joy and success… and… love.

I’m a mathematician, but I love to read. English was my second major after math. I taught for 30 years. Taught English one semester in middle school. (Enjoyed it). Taught geometry and pre-calculus and some algebra in high school. Loved teaching. 💜🐢

I found “Skin” an incredibly innovative and beautiful novel but wow did you surpass it by “scars”
It is a storyline that so many people can benefit from reading as it gives depth and meaning to people with varying types of scars of their own. It highlights how insular one can be and the benefits to obtaining others opinions, ideas and sometimes frank openness to make them open up and be who they are or as in this case sets of the chrysalis chain to the beauty of the butterfly!

Congratulations once again Dale. I’m an avid fan of all your books but as previously said but will say again. “Each book is so unique and a pleasure to read and each surpasses the previous!
You continue to go from strength to strength! Keep up this amazing work! Ali x

      Hi Ali,

Thanks so much for commenting. Scars was both a joy and tearful thing to write. Anything that touches on the pain and heartache inside is always difficult to do properly. I took a lot on with this series but it’s worth reaching beyond the norm for the things that will make us/me grow!

I’m delighted to hear you enjoyed Scars!

I LOVED both of the books in this series! I did not think I could like anything more than the Psychic vision series, which I have followed from book 1. I can’t wait for the next book!

Hi Tracy! Thanks so much for commenting. I’m delighted to hear you are enjoying that series. I do love the characters! There’s so much emotion in those books that they affect me too.

Book 3 is in progress – just delayed as I’m in the middle of a house move and renos! 🙂

    Reviewing Scars:
I was given an early release copy for my unbiased opinion. This is my opinion, alone. This book hooked me in immediately. It is emotional and thought provoking. It may be my favorite of hers, which is a lot to say because I love the Psychic Vision series. Scars is the second in this series however it is very acceptable as a stand alone, so far. They are related and the previous book is mentioned occasionally, very briefly. Who’s to say the series will continue in that way? I definitely recommend this read!

      Hi Carie,

I’m delighted to hear you enjoyed this book! It was an emotional journey writing both Skin and Scars – I’m looking forward to writing Scales, which should be out over the summer – I hope. 🙂
