Mason SEALs of Honor 1

KILL OR BE KILLED

Part of an elite SEAL team, Mason takes on the dangerous jobs no one else wants to do – or can do. When
he’s on a mission, he’s focused and dedicated. When he’s not, he plays as hard as he fights.

Until he meets a woman he can’t have but can’t forget.

Software developer, Tesla lost her brother in combat and has no intention of getting close to someone else
in the military. Determined to save other US soldiers from a similar fate, she’s created a program that could
save lives. But other countries know about the program, and they won’t stop until they get it – and get her.

Time is running out… For her… For him… For them…

      Hi Ali!

It fun to see these curves in my career. Some to the left and some to the right. Some dark and mysterious and some so light and comical I chuckle while I write – and still more ideas keep coming. I hope I have the honor of another fifty years to live and write for the rest of you to enjoy!

Being a huge fan of the physic visions serious, I was excited to read some of Dale’s other books. I was lucky enough to win a free copy of Mason. Once I started the book, I didn’t want to put it down.
The character of Telsa is a true inspiration. Kidnapped numerous times never giving up, always thinking and seeing threw her goal of saving military lives.
Then there are the Seals. The bond and trust they share is well portrayed. I liked that these men still held compassion and were not ruined by all the horrible things they are subjected to being military Seals.
I enjoyed the personal incite of the building romance. However the standard that an elite Seal is held to, I found it bothersome that the developing feeling were so apparent and acted on during the mission. That being said I still look forward to read the rest of the series.

Hi Alysha! Congrats on winning a copy. And even more, thanks for commenting. It’s always nice to know a creative project hits the right now. I hope to do a lot of SEALs in many different forms but Mason will always be special. 🙂

I enjoyed getting to know the Seal team and seeing them in action. I would have liked more stealth and more emphasis on the men for whom the series is titled. I got tired of the heroine who is in distress again and again. Even though Tesla is tough and uncomplaining, seriously, no one could possibly need rescuing as much as this woman. Followed a fairly common theme of rescued heroine falling in love with her rescuer.

      Hi Dr. Lee,

This series is definitely a lighter tone and more over the top action and fun than anything serious – you are right there. I should call it my light Seals series. Looking at doing a much darker one next. Or maybe one that is run by a psychic. Not sure but looking forward to exploring the ideas.

It started with a bang and built from there. Tesla has been kidnapped by people who want the program she has developed. The SEAL team sent to recover her are in for a few surprises as she is an active partner in her rescue.

This story is well written, full of excitement that doesn’t quit. An unlikely romance develops along the way and we are taken along for the ride and an unexpected ending is the icing on the cake.

If you are a fan of action/military romance books, you will surely love this one. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
